In some specialized applications, such as in waterproof computer systems or in outdoor - rated equipment, fans with even higher water - protection levels, like IPX7 (protected against immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes), may be required. Understanding the protection level of a DC computer case fan is crucial for ensuring its reliable operation in different environments.
