Replacing Fans: If the bearing wear is the cause of the noise, replacing the fan is often the best solution. When choosing a replacement fan, consider factors such as the size, speed, and noise level. There are many low noise fans available on the market that can provide sufficient cooling performance while operating quietly. For example, some fans are designed with advanced bearing technologies, like fluid dynamic bearings, which offer smoother operation and lower noise levels compared to traditional bearings.

Optimizing Cooling and Usage: To prevent overheating related fan noise, ensure proper ventilation in the computer case. Avoid placing the computer in a confined or poorly ventilated space. Additionally, close any unnecessary applications and processes that may be consuming excessive system resources and generating heat. Some motherboards also allow users to adjust the fan speed curves in the BIOS or through software, which can help balance between cooling performance and noise levels according to the user's needs.
